Weapons of Mass Destruction Professional Curriculum - Performance-level Course for Physicians |
The Center for Emergency Care and Disaster Preparedness (CECDP) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham has developed curriculum content for a physician performance level course in the management of victims of weapons of mass destruction. These downloadable files can be formatted for use by institutions of higher learning, training centers, and others providing physician training.
There are five sections of awareness-level curricula:
- biological weapons,
- chemical weapons,
- radiological weapons,
- mass casualty, and
- general weapons of mass destruction.
Each section includes learning objectives, key teaching points, and assessment questions. Each page of key teaching points is coded to both the learning objectives and assessment questions allowing the content to be tailored for specific needs.
