AlPHA Education Conference 2014
This year's conference is a joint endeavor with AlPHA, UAB, Southern Health Association (SHA) and Alabama Environmental Health Association (AEA).  We will begin our conference on Wednesday at the Double Tree Hotel on University Blvd. and 20th Avenue.   Thursday's sessions will be held at the UAB School of Public, 1665 University Blvd., On Friday we will finish up at the Double Tree.

The East Central Mississippi Trauma Care Region (ECMTCR) and Meridian Community College (MCC) invite you to attend the 2nd Annual ECMTCR Trauma & Emergency Medicine Symposium.

OBJECTIVES:
At the conclusion of the symposium, the participant should be able to:
  • Provide the most current information on trauma care and its management to all health care professionals, extending the participant’s knowledge and practice of trauma medicine
  • Enhance clinical performance by integrating new treatment modalities
  •  Discuss current trends in the clinical management of trauma injuries
  • Apply knowledge gained and lessons learned to provide quality trauma care in practice settings
  • Provide insight on the impact of trauma in Mississippi to facilitate the delivery of trauma care across the state’s trauma system

TARGET AUDIENCE:
This symposium’s target audience is all disciplines involved in the management of the trauma patient including surgeons, emergency medicine physicians, mid-level providers, nurses, pre-hospital personnel, and other interested healthcare providers.
